Do NOT get PowerSlot rotors....not very high quality and do not last many miles.

I have PowerSlot rotors (from TireRack) on front of my Brick... With Stop Tech pads (wanted EBC but no production date after 2 mo wait). So far so good in about 1,200 mi. Aftermarket pads definitely STOP better, but are dusty. Certainly can live with the trade-off. Already purchased before above comment... Guess I would have checked other brands.

Bob, didn't mean to slam PowerSlot...well, yes I did. I had them on my 98 F-150 and they were destroyed in under 30K miles of use. The machined surface of the rotor actually broke off and rusted. I had never seen a rotor fall apart the way the PowerSlots did in less then 2 years of use. Also, they never say any hard use or hard braking that would have caused these problems. I was shocked at how bad these rotors looked after normal use. I really believe they are manufactured from inferior grade metal, and thus don't last long. I really have had longer and better service from cheapo rotors I purchased at Advanced Auto Parts for 30 bucks apiece. As I side note I replaced the PowerSlots with EBC brake pads and rotors and they worked great, they were still on the truck when I traded it. I was impressed with the EBC stuff.

The power slots are NOW made in China... According to TireRack, the rears I bought are the same as the front power slots sans.... slots. Probably will trade in Brick when I get over 50K.... hopefully for another EB Brick so all they have to last is another 25K and 18 months.

Thanks for the info TonyTheTIger57, they look like decent rotors, I will most likely give them a try. Mjhpadi I have power slots on me 03 Marauder and there not bad. I was a little upset that the rust line appear so qickly in the slots. It seems like if your getting an "upgraded" rotor it should be, well, "upgraded"!!
