How long does it take a mechanic to do some 89 SHO front disc brakes. shrug I was doing it my self until I stripped the screw/pin that goes into the caliper(with the rubber thing), it is in there so tight that I was forced to use a breaker bar just to get the one out, I tried to do the same thing w/the other, and I stripped it out with one strong pull. I could have beat the shit out of the damn thing after that. I just put it back together and driving it again. I want to know how much the LABOR ONLY will be. I have rotors and brakes (front). Someone help me out please!!!

They will have to drill the stripped bolt out, and replace it with a new one. so it will be more than if you didn't strip the bolt. It shouldn'd be much more.

if the slid pin/bolt is still in it and the spindle is not stripped just the pin then they can grab it with a "twist out" socket and maybe a little heat from a torch

Thanks, I'm glad there are a majority of older more wiser people w/sho's. If it was a bunch of dumb 19/20 bastards like me, I would be screwed. THANKS!!! :D
