Hello all,

I plan on changing rotors+pads on the front and just the pads on the rear soon and would like to get any extra insight before it's all apart. From what I understand, the rear caliper piston needs a rewind tool (clockwise?). T40 torx bolt holds rotors on (stripped it on my old SEL ). I've changed the front rotors and pads on my old SEL but haven't done it on the SHO yet and I think it should be pretty straightforward. I had problems with the sliding pins stuck before but I don't think it should be an issue this time around. Any tips are appreciated.

If I recall correctly when you buy them be sure you get the correct size rotors and pads. There are two different sizes for the Taurus and the SHO are larger than the SEL. I had that problem with a Flex I used to have. Bought the smaller ones and went to fit them and was scratching my head! Other than that they are very straight forward just like every other brake job I have done.
