Brake booster replacement

How much of a PITA is this. I have a leaky one and it needs to be done by thursday. Has anyone done this and what all is entailed?

i have not done mine in the sho but im close to it now while im replacing the hard lines. in my 67' mustang you have to remove bolts from the inside and remove the pin the attaches the plunger to the pedal. in the sho whats gonna make it complicated is all the stuff in the way your probally going to have to disconnect alot of wiring. but once thats done you should be all set. good luck with it

Well thankfull I won;t need to know for now. Brake booster is fine. It was how I re-routed my cruise control lines when i pullled it. I capped them off and the brakes are great!!

It's not too difficult a job. 1-2 hours at most. I just did it on the '89 and changed the master cylinder same time.

Definitely not like replacing a heater core.

(Man, these older cars.... they sure need a lot of maintenance, LOL!!!)
