I was pondering out in my garage the other night and heres my dillema with my Shagon Wagon...

Stock '92 GL Wagon booster has no ABS and 4 ports coming out of the master cylinder. 2 for the front and 2 for the rear.

'93 SHO sedan booster has 2 ports coming out of the master cylinder that goto the ABS computer.

The SHO master cylinder has a lager piston than the GL so I want to use it but cant use the stock wagon brake lines that go to the front and rear.

Unless...I install a bias valve close to the SHO booster and run new line to the rear. No biggie. I have everything to do that.

With the 13" rotors and Cobra calipers all around dont you think that the bias valve would be a good idea ?

Lemmeeknow whatcha think...
MikeD.

OBTW...I can get brand new power booster and master cylinder for about $125.

Mike, just install the SHO booster, master cylinder, and ABS unit. that is, if you want ABS. buy some tubing and replumb your lines. with ABS and bigger brakes, i dont see the use for the proportioning valve. if anything, id install an aftermarket with access in the cabin so you can dial it in as you drive.

With brakes that big, and no ABS, I would install a proportioning valve. :thumb:

Yep I already planned on that along with new metal lines to all 4 corners. I have some unbent plastic coated aluminum brake line from Dodge HD trucks. Should be better protected and flow a little better than stock.
