Brake bleeding madness... Help please

Anyone in the West-Michigan area have an ABS bleeding tool and wouldnt mind helping me "properly" bleed my Brakes?

Edit: Replaced the rear calipers and hoses and now have a very SOFT pedal feel. Bled twice, two quarts of fluid through it, and still soft. Pedal was significantly firmer before the parts were replaced.

If were not 200 miles away I would. I have the tool and your welcome to use it, but I can't help you personally.

Back in Michigan ... again.
I never used an ABS tool... I just worked with two people on it. One person in the car pumping the brakes, one person cracking the bleeders open. Never had a problem getting a good firm pedal. Start the car, pump the brakes up, signal to your helper to crack the bleeder, push the pedal to the floor, signal helper to close bleeder, let pedal return to normal position.

Repeat as needed at each wheel. Worked for me hundreds of times :thumb:

If you get air in the abs pump you can't get it out without the bleeding tool, thus the soft pedal feel.

If you feel like driving out to rochester i have the tool and would be glad to let you use it.

Used the 2 person method, twice. Unfortunately the rear lines HAD to set open for an hour, and dumb me didnt think about plugging the lines, just let them drip into pans. Stupid, but live and learn. Pretty sure I have air in the system that normal bleeding wont get.

Intentional panic stops + loose gravel road = ABS fun'ness.
I just got the ABS to kick in several times, and it apearantly did the trick.
All is back to normal.

A lot more dangerous too, oh well to each their own. Glad the problem is fixed.
