Hey all,

Picked up a Borla exhaust for my Gen 2. The resonator seems to be much bigger than stock - when I get it where I think it should be, Its rubbing on the heat shield - Does that need to come off?

The resonator only has one place to mount. It has a little built-in mini-beam that attaches to a body mount location.
If your system can still be taken apart (as new), it is easiest to start at the back and work towards the Y-Pipe. It is tight, and at first glance, appears impossible, but it does fit; and works very well.
And quiet too.

I had no issue with my heat shield. If the heatshield is still pinned to the body, everything will be OK.
It would not be a problem if they touched.
Did you get the little beam and the rubber isolators that mount the resonator?
