Has anybody had any experience with BOTH the Ford pads and Carbotech Bobcat pads on 96 brakes? 96 BRAKES ONLY! Price is about the same. I know the Ford pads are tried and true and receive nothing but praise from those who've used them. But Bobcats are a sweet street pad...Not too many of you have used them. Not sure if they will beat the highly praised Ford pads on my criteria which is: good street braking performance, good braking feel, good braking performace. Did I mention I want good brake feel as well?

I will waste a lot of time rolling those two options back and forth in my head if I don't get some guidance. Please help save my brain!

Another good point about the Ford pads is they do not eat up the rotors. Just paid $76 shipped from FPN. :corn:

Can't say that I've used the Ford pads, but I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

If you want good street braking performance, I would stick with the Fords. If you're looking for something that will stand up to mild track abuse but probably dust more and eat rotors faster, the Bobcats are the way to go.

I can't say about the Ford pads, but I have the Bobcats and I love them, they also do not dust that much as well.

The pedals do feel a bit spongy, but thats probably due to my brake lines than anything else.

The Ford pads hold up to track conditions very well. You probably can get 2-3 all out track days plus a years worth of driving on them.

The last set I had took Thunder Hill, a day at Gingerman, the trip to California and back from Illinois and the rest of my normal driving and were only about 1/2 gone.
