Im thinking of getting the BMR control arms but I am unsure of one thing, If I get them do I NEED to buy the adjustable ones??

Basically I want to know if there is a model that is non-adustable that will fit correctly. If I have the adjustable one, how Will I know when the caster/camber is correct?? It just seems like a lot or work adjusting them correctly..

And also, I read something about the hardware mounting holes for the GTP control arms being larger than ford's stock mounting holes, Is this true?? And If the bolts for the ford parts are smaller than the GMs, how can I solve this??

Which of these products will complete the rear suspension?

I take it I would need rear mount and front mount lateral arms??

Im no suspesion guru, I know quite a bit but obviously not enough..:)

Also, one more dumb question..Whats a trailing arm??

I would really appreciate any help, I definetly need it.

TIA

You will know the alignment is correct when the alignment computer at the alignment shop says it is. This isn't a slap-in-and-drive mod, you need a computerized 4-wheel alignment after installing them.

You want the forward arms, I forget what BMR calls them, but on a stock GTP the forward arms are the adjustable ones.

Tauruses do not have trailing arms technically. They have radius arms which they call strut rods.

Well I am aware that I will need to have a shop do the alignment but I need to install them and then drive to an alignment shop. I am aware that dont just bolt on. So when I go to order them I need to ask for 12mm bushings, Do they charge extra for the undersize bushing??

I like ours.

Rearcontrolarms

$400. Takes about 2hrs to install. Aluminum bars and teflon lines heim joints and in stock.

Our bars are set up with LH and RH threads in the joints. To adjust the toe and camber settings you simply loosen the jam nuts and twist the bars. It makes getting a good alignment a lot easier. Also, with the high tensil strenght heim joints, there is not deflection like those with rubber bushings. This means that with our bars, you can run less negative camber and still get the handling in the turns.

We even have provisions to mount the proportioning valve.

BMR did not charge me for the bushings, also you will need some 1/2 inck fender washers and reg 1/2 washers (home depot /lowe's)
