Yeah, it's the annoying-ass box with the thermal fuse that likes to blow and set an air bag code even though there's nothing wrong with your air bags.

Could that be what is wrong with mine? My airbag light has been blinking at me for 4 years. I read up and found that if you take the bulb out, the system switches over to the horn (to beep at you). Any truth to this?

That's the airbag controller/ backup power supply.

If you remove the bulb, it will fail the bulb check and the buzzer will sound.

Yeah just disconect the blue box or get one from a junk yard or something. I found out the hard way and pulled the bulb and then pulled the blue box because it wouldnt shut up.
