Blown '92 almost ready

If you're running the streets of Maryland in the near future and run up on a green '92 that sounds like it's got a bad alternator bearing, you might want to think twice about taking it on.









This one is our latest blower car. It's got a bunch of our stuff underneath, under the hood and out back.

Should make *the* noise quite nicely.

I really like the look of those shaft driven kits. Have you ever experimented with any time of after/intercooler..?

We've been looking into the FMIC and have figured out a way to do it. Just haven't had the time or the need as yet.

At 9psi of boost, these cars are consistently putting down 325 on the tires and yielding 25-26mpg on the highway.

A FMIC would allow for more fuel and more timing, so maybe on my car. We'll see.

Comes right out. Slips under the shaft. You need a funnel to fill it, but the cap does come out.

Thats' a Pro Street drag car wiht a 600hp Cleveland and a C-6. Runs 10's.

The next one is a '69 fastback with a 400hp '03 Cobra motor, 6sp tranny and independent rear suspension. The '70 Cougar with the 6.8L V-10 Ford truck engine and 5 speed is getting done first.

How about a air/liquid cooler? It looks like there would be room for a single core unit on the driverside of the engine bay there. That would keep the charge piping short.

yeah... or for less money get injectors and a kenny bell roots for it and have an instant 300rwhp jump (hmmm 600+hp v10)

It will be. V-10, 5-speed, 8.8" rear end with 3.73 gears, 13" Cobra brakes, 4 wheel disks and hydroboost.

The 9,000lb Econoline that the engine came out of, got about 9mpg. In my 3,000lb Mustang chassis, it'll get close to 20mpg. The engine makes 315hp and 345ft-lbs of torque. It makes over 300ft-lbs from 1600rpm all the way to about 4200rpm. So when you're out and driving about, if you're over 1600rpm, you've got 300ft-lbs or more to work with. This means that in most cases, you won't even have to downshift. Just roll into the pedal and off you go. But in those cases where you do need to grab a gear or two, simply push in the clutch and pick the one you want. The transmissions is straight out of a Mustang Cobra.

The next one is gonna be a '69 Mustang Fastback that's getting a '04 Cobra engine, 6-speed transmission and independent rear suspension.

Should be a gas.

Few more things to wrap up. Inlet and discharge plumbing, coil bracket, MAF and tuning. Then it'll be ready to make the noise.
