Blinkers

Today I replaced a brake light bulb, and now I have no blinkers, and no emergency flashers.
Is this a common thing?

Did you replace it with the right bulb ?? Have you tried putting hte old bulb back in to see if everything else works ??

I did all that, and found out in the end that the problem was in the hazard blinker switch. After I cleaned it up, all was well!
