BTW, I think I figured it out but I just wanna throw it out for everyone else to test my idea on what went wrong.
I was driveing along and the light came on. I was thinking either the alternator died or the balt broke. Pulled over and poped the hood. The belt was still on.
Shut the car off and tried cranking it to see if the battery was dieing. It started up fine.
Went on to my fathers garage and grabbed the battery/charging meter. It showed the battery was fine then checked the charge. It seemed to be chargeing but too good. 14 volts, climbed to 15 then the end of the scale.
Decided to take it to advance and have them test it. It was showing 16volts at like 700-800 rpm.
Voltage regualtor seemed to be the problem so I ordered a new alternator.
Also wanna add that my climate control would flash and act crazy, the air bag light would flash 2 times in a row, stop, Then do it again over and over, and the batttery lite was on.
Figured this would help folks to know that just cause the light comes on doesn't mean it isn't chargeing. I think too many volts will make the light come on and will make electronics act crazy......................
