As some of you may have read I had problems with my car starting about 3 weeks ago. Tracked it down to a crank sensor due to the way the car was cranking, and that I had previosly gotten a code 211 which is a bad PIP signal. So, from advice of forum members, I had my CPS repalced to the tune of around 300 [plus 55 dollar tow]

Fast forward to last thursday. Same thing, I go to leave work, car wont start. I had been having problems with this but the car would fire after a few attempts. Then I realized my fuel pump wasn't turning on. Talked with a forum member, and suggested I tap on the CCRM. The car started. I've had to do this a handful of times since, and I dont know how much longer its goin to keep working and I'm working on finding a CCRM from someone.

So, my question. Could the bad CCRM have caused me to get a code 211?
I would be rather...upset if I found out I didn't have to spend that money.

No. The CCRM has nothing to do with the ignition system. The PCM either sees valid PIP signal coming from the CPS, or it doesn't. That determination is made entirely independant from what is going on with the fuel delivery system.
