I am finally buying my first Gen I in a couple weeks and I had a couple q's.

I was doing some searching about the different ECU's and was wondering does the X2J provide any advantage as an upgrade to a stock or relatively stock '89 with the B9B? From what I read the X2J is better if you are doing any tuning because it processes faster, but does it change anything as a simple swap out?

I couldn't seem to find the answer from the other threads that came up when searching.

Thanks for your input

Doesnt the x2j provide more tuning ability? For a completely stock sho I wouldnt buy a x2j simply for and upgrade, but if you need a new ECU or if you start modding the car and want it tuned it would be good.

The tweecer turns any mtx computer into an x2j. Since the x2j strategy is wat was figured out for the tweecer.

But I see no reason why to swap an x2j for a b9b or w/e. Only reason would be if u wanted to run an lpm which was programmed for an x2j. or vice versa. even then u can just have the lpm tuned for ur computer
