I had a Compustar basic 1-Way installed about 3 months ago. My installer had never installed a remote-start on the new Taurus and tried to find a way to do it without using my second key but couldn't so now I'm down 1 key. I just wanted a really basic remote start and it works really well with a decent range although it annoys me to know that there is a module out there that could have been used to save 1 key. To be fair to the installer, I did want to keep the cost down so maybe he thought $250 was too much. The other option would be if this module just became available and wasn't around when I had mine installed.
