aight so let me figure things out. it is on sunday the 24 and at 4pm. its also BYOB...? i think this can be fun, now time to figure out what i shall show up in
ohh and chris i still have those springs if ure still interested, ive been busy and forgot all about them until i pulled the engine lift out last week
actually eric i forgot about them too...if you didnt notice im actually selling the car.....but i plan on being at the bbq for a little while...

All you can do is try, Matt. Don't let folks drag you down, your intentions were cool and that's what counts in life. 
Surely we'll all get together again, but it sounded as though this event was never going to make it - **** we can't even get a handful of "enthusiasts" together for breakfast anymore.
Next time maybe things'll pan out a little differently.
Too bad you two weren't able to help out yesterday, it would've been a nice distraction from what we had going on.
Fire Randy a PM and see what the thought is for September breakfast. IIRC there are a couple auto-x events planned.

that sux that no one showed up. its hard especially for a saturday cause alot of people work unfortunely like myself. if you ever plan something like this on a sunday then i could get myself and a couple of other friends of mine to show up. have of the problem is there are very few people around here there still have there shows.

It's the internet, man. Everyone sees a cool idea a month ahead of time and it sounds good and they say "yes". What you need to do is get definite commitments from people and keep updating with lists of people and build upon it.
You should also start a thread with a title including the date of the BBQ. Sorry it didn't work out. I didn't say yes because I didn't know if my schedule would allow me to go. Even though it looked good up until this week, I had something come up. You've got to figure at least 70% attrition on commitments unless you get a firestorm early...
