I have the ability to pick up a cheap 95 ATX, running but with bad tranny. I have a few MTX parts cars here, what is involved in converting this to an MTX? Do I use the MTX subframe and ATX front mount? Thanks.

I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing and have all the parts ready to go. Here's what I know so far:
-MTX subframe is required
-3.0 motormounts and accessories (including water pump) is also required, unless you build a custom front motor mount as shown here:

-If you're going to swap accessories, the front head needs to be modified to bolt the 3.0 alternator to it. An alternative to this would be to install a 3.0 head on that side. The rear head dimensions are the same 3.2 vs. 3.0.
-IIRC Coil pack is mount a bit differently between the two
-I plan to change out wiring harness and computer, but many do not.

Sweet. So it looks like I just need to get a custom mount fabbed up (the guy just did the front 60k, so I'd rather go with the single belt 3.2 design. I do have an MTX computer if thats needed. Obviously all MTX exhaust components, and I'll need to cut a hole in the floor for the rod shifter. Seems possible since I have lots of MTX parts around. Thanks for the quick reply and info.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention:
-3.0 exhaust manifolds and Y-pipe
-3.0 oil pan (not required, but the 3.2 pan requires extending the oil level sensor and then the bell housing would not be sealed off to the elements).

Ok cool. I will use the 3.0 components, manifolds and oil pan. Doesnt seem so bad, really. Anyone selling modified front mounts for this conversion?
And I can use an ATX or MTX computer?
