So, my SHO is borderline 120k now. I bought it at 114k. Not sure about the history, so I don't know if it's ever been changed.

Should I change it?

I would say definitely YES. If you do not know the service history of the car, it is recommended that all fluids be changed with that kind of mileage. I would suggest, however, that you not go the flushing route. This can cause seals to fail and debris in the tranny to move to locations where it can make bad things happen. A fluid drain, filter change, and refill with a synthetic fluid it the best course to take. Also consider a tuner and ATX cooler to extend the life of your transmission.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Flush = bad :p

A ATX Cooler is in the works.

I've never changed the ATX fluid on any of my cars (sadly.. haven't owned one long enough lol).. is it pretty much the same as oil?

I think you only need to be worried about flushing when there is already a problem with the transmission as it can make the problem worse and the trans will die sooner rather than later..

Don't do a power flush. Just pump it out like is described in the "How do I" section. You will need 13-14 quarts.
