atx computer in mtx?

i was wondering if it is possible to run an atx computer in a mtx? as my buddy is having trouble with his car and we think it might be the computer and i dont have an extra mtx computer but i do have an extra atx one. am i able to put the atx one in the car to see if this is the problem? thanks

what kind of problems are they? run ur codes?

yeah we ran the codes and there was no code coming up, you could start the car and it would run then stall and have the tach just drop to 0, you could restart the car and it will do the same thing. the crank sensor has only like 6k miles on it so we thought the computer may be messed up, and since its easier to change the computer then cps, we gave that a try. i swaped my computer in to his car(both xj2) and its still doing it. so we are going to go ahead and change the cps and see what happens.
