hello all,anybody have any suggestion on 95atx problem? tranny basically overnight started slipping badly coming out of OD to 3rd,like its not even catching at highway speeds. if i do a kinda feather/baby it, it does finally catch up and kick in,then will go back in OD fine . is there any external adjustments ,like tightening bands that can be made on these atxs. does a torque converter go bad like right now? thanks a bunch for any advice. p.s also 1st to 2nd seems to be still typical axt funky shift but grabs fine even under HARD ecceleration.

Sounds like a rebuild is in order.
On tranny number 3, OD was the first gear to be quirky and do those same symptoms that you described. Wherever you get the rebuild done, make sure you take them the tranny info that can be obtained here for the correct rebuild and upgrades...
