Are SHO inner tie rod ends the same as SLO??

I picked up a cheap 89 SHO with 177K on it and it had a bad "shimmy" under hard
acceleration. I replaced the outer tie rod ends and it helped, but
it's still a little loose and I believe the inner T.R. ends also need replacement. Can I
use ones from a regular Taurus? Or, are they different? Also, how hard is it to change
the inners?? Anything I should know before attempting this job? Any advice is appreciated.

The rod are not the same. But they do fit, i have them on my gen II.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll try the change out. I just hope I don't get the old ones off only to find out they won't work.
