Hi y'all, not sure if this is the best place for this post, but was wondering if anyone on the forum happens to recognize this car:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=110067020059&rd=1&rd=1

Its a black 1992 that I just purchased on ebay, and the previous owner(whoever had it before the used car dealer I bought it from) installed numerous aftermarket components so I thought maybe they are on the forum somewhere.

I bought it in Philadelphia PA, but I believe it came from New Hampshire or Connecticut.

Just wondering if anyone recognizes it, :nut: :nut: :nut:

it looks familiar....atleast the intake does....

but the car is modded. from what i can see, th 96 upgrade, some sort of lowering springs, and possibly struts. i would look the car over and see what else you find...
but for under 8 bills, thats not bad....

Yeah I didn't do too badly, from what I can tell, it has:

Intrax lowering springs

Underdrive pulleys (I think ASP's)

Subframe connectors

Alumunim subframe bushings

Aftermarket ypipe(I think the magna flow unit)

New exhaust(looks like 2 1/4 mandrel bent)

96 brake upgrade

oh and I forgot brand new battery and basically brand new tires

The car didn't even have any real problem with the power steering as the seller seemed to think it did, the power steering belt was just not put on, likely because the pulley for the power steering tensioner was missing.

The only issue I have to work out is the previous owner did some rewiring around the ccrm, bypassing it for some reason. Havn't been able to track down exactly for what purpose, don't know if it was malfunctioning, or if there was some other purpose. That and for some reason when I give it some gas, the the climate control module flickers on and off and basically goes nuts:nut:

Yeah electrical gremlins!!!!

Good luck with the car

I have seen that car on ebay before, but I don't know the previous owner. If you are interested, there is an SHO meet in King of Prussia the weekend after New Years. There is more info in the LSHOC section of the forum. There will be a couple dozen SHO owners there who should be able to help you out with your electrical issues.

This thread should be moved to the SHO related open section. Nothing we can do about it now. We just wait for a moderater to spot it. No biggie.
