I am looking to cut a lot of weight from my '91 MTX SHO. If anyone had some suggestions or maybe a diet/weight loss plan I could put my baby on I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!

Yup, good eye! http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=776885 has the original 'how to' article of how to strip weight! They took the Nissan from a 16.3 to a 14.3 in the 1/4.

- My suggestions -
Empty out the trunk including tire & trim.
Empty out the gas tank (15 gal. = 90 lbs)
Centerline RPM wheels with stock brakes
remove unneeded seats
remove hoodliner, fiberglass hood
remove stereo, speakers, amps
remove A/C system
remove carpet & headliner & interior & airbag system ... add rollcage
... Pretty soon you get a car that's not so nice to drive around.
