I have BFG Traction T/A V Rated tires on my SHO in the stock size. They seem to be a harder compound tire and don’t seem to be as "grippy" as they could be. They handle the Michigan winter OK, and on the dry asphalt they seem to grip well. On the other hand they can be quite tricky yet entertaining to keep from spinning in the rain. Lateral stability is good despite this; I haven’t pushed the car hard enough to get lateral sliding or push. For a daily driver that gets a lot of freeway time they are nice, smooth, and remarkably quiet considering the number of personal reviews saying they are on the high side for road noise. I wouldn’t put them on a car that is pushed hard in the corners or a track car as they are just too hard. As always your mileage may vary, especially since you are looking at the T Rated version, I suspect they may be a little softer compound. There is also an H Rated version. I would give them a solid 8 out of 10 for a daily driver.
I hope this helps you.

OH you didn't know
I've sold quite a few of those and they seem to wear out fast. They do have good traction, but I would stay away from the "T" rated. If you installed any of the BF Goodrich tires, it should be the KDWS.

Cheaper is not always the answer. A lot of people here spend the extra $$ on some parts example: Ford ignition wires/plugs, TPR bushings, ALSFB's, Eibach springs with Koni or Tokico struts. Then, when it comes to the component that actually is VERY critical on the car itself (TIRES), some think the cheapest brand is very acceptable. I don't understand this. It's the same when customer's come into the tire shop and ask for the 4 tires for $100 on their LEXUS or BMW...gimme a break.

I am more critical finding out what others have to say about a particular tire, since these are the people that actually have the experience in the performance of a specific brand. Price can vary in location and vendor pricing. For the most part, BG Goodrich tires are well manufactured. Good Luck.

I like the KDW's better than the KDWS. Of course their not a winter or an all season tire but, are great in the rain and on dry surface. And fairly cheap, I think anyways.

Just got some G-force T/A KDWS's put on, they're pretty nice. Better than the Michelins that i had on the car prior to the new ones. W rated and handle nicely, better than the Kuhmo ecsta supra's i had on the SHO when i bought it.

I currently have the BGF Traction T/A (H & V Rated). I absolutely love them. I bought them for winter driving and they were rated higher than Blizzacks in winter (I would agree after having a winter on them). I have even left them on for the summer to try them out as I have been so impressed. I currently have a set of like new Kuhmo Ecsta 712 (55/225) sitting in the garage (my second set of those, they are pretty good), but the ride and treadlife (warranty to 60k) on the Traction T/A make it difficult to swap out for the Kuhmos...

I will buy BFGoodrich tires from here on in.....My truck had a set of BFG Longtrail T/A's which were at 90k miles and still looked great (still had 6/32 tread life) when I sold the truck.

My van has a set of factory Uniroyals at 30k which are dissintegrating. They are crap. crap. crap.

Well thanks for the input everyone. I would love to get the KDWS, but at this point it is really not feasible to spend that much. I don't want to go out and get the cheapest tires out there, which is why I am looking at the Traction T/As, but I am driving a stock SHO, so I just need something decent. I don't do a lot of hard driving or anything. Just around town and on the highway. Maybe by the time these wear out I will have some suspension and handling mods and will have a good reason to buy some really nice tires.

I have also just noticed these Falken Ziex ZE-512 which look pretty nice also. What does everyone think? They are $10 cheaper and have an H speed rating instead of a T speed rating.

I have 2 Traction T/A H series on my car. As soon as I need the other 2 tires I will be replacing them with 2 more Traction T/A's. I also looked at the Falken's also but if I was going to do that I was going to get the Azenis sport . The T/A's are very nice, I don't hit weather very much down here but they are very quiet and grip very well. They also fit the slicer rims perfectly, snug right up to lip that the weights are supposed to go on. I have the taped weights on the inside, gives it a nice clean look.

I agree with the KDWS, they last a long time too.

I'm currently running 235/45/17 Firestone Fuzion ZRi. IMO very very good tires for the price, it does ride a little harsh though, but then I don't have another set of 235/45/17 tires to compare to.
