Whats up all? Me and my Wife are flying back into houston on the 28th(september) and staying in Stafford with her family for week or two while on leave. I was wondering if any of you SHO nut here in the Great state of Texas were in the local area for a get together. I of course won't have my SHO with me because it is in Italy in peices being rebuilt/modded/tricked out whatever you want to call it.

Post on here and let me know

I am here in Houston!! And I have seen your posts many times...it would be great to meet up with you! We have several things in common...married, own SHO's, been to Italy!

There are several others who I am sure would like to meet up as well.

I sent you a PM with my number...

sounds like a great excuse for a dinner GTG for the Houston folks. My parents just got back from a 10 day vacation to Italy.

Somebody give me a call when this goes down. We might also consider what part of Houston we're gonna meet up in, Houston is one big spread out city.
Gary, you still have my cell #? If not, I'll shoot it your direction.

I'll be there this wednesday. I am already hooked up with some car guys in the Houston/Sugar land area. Lets see if we can do something next thursday or friday. I heard htey have open drag night on saturday nights. Maybe we can get some SHO's running on the strip or a nice dinner or something. I will give SuperG a call when I'm in the area. BTW I hope you guys get off the hook with this Whole Hurricane Rita thing with nothing but some rain and light wind. That would be nice.

we haven't even lost a single luxury yet. I'm a little surprised, but it ended up being sort of a let down. going from 175mph storm to getting 40 mph gusts this far inland... eh, lame!!!

Gary, It only took me 3 hours or so to get from The Woodlands to Waco. AND I left at 11pm on Wed. night. It kinda helps to know where all the back roads are, and speed never dropped below 55mph. Wound up spending the weekend in Ft. Stockton with my uncle and cousin, had a bit of fun. Topped out my mom's '94 ATX, the second time my cousin's been in that car, and he was amazed by how hard it pulls past 120.

Ha! That's awesome! Coming back from Austin we hardly ever fell under 80 mph. So that was fun hauling about 800 pounds extra in my trunk and rear seat!!! Didn't affect mpg's too much though...not that I actually care!

OK...it's Wednesday...what are we going to do?
