The Complainer
After I checked again, there is NO movement at the 12 and 6 position. The only two places I see that could exhibit play were the inner tie rods and the ball joint. I'm thinking it's also the inners after looking at them again the other day. I'll probably just go ahead and replace the inner tie rods anyway; they are cheap. The only thing is I'll probably have to replace the outers again as well. I pretty much destroyed the old outer TREs last time smacking them trying to get them out of the hub. The outers are only 1 yr old. I might try to reuse them; I'm just afraid I'll ruin them getting them out. Since they are pretty new, they may not be seated in as tight as the old ones, which could have very well been the originals.
Ugh another alignment will be necessary then. I should have bought the lifetime alignment from Firestone.
