Another A/C? and oil leak?

When I bought my SHO in December the A/C did not work. About two months ago I changed out my climate control unit and it worked. The car was down for a couple of months as I was changing the oil pan gasket, trans pan gasket and pulled the intake off to clean and paint it. It took this long as I wasnt in a hurry to get it running again as I have another car. Any ways the car is all back together but the A/C doesnt work any more. Any Ideas? also there seems to still be an oil leak (not from the pan) that is getting on the cat and smoking like ****. Any Ideas on that?

its your oil sending unit or your oil pressure sensor both fairly easy to fix
you can only get the oil sending unit from ford tho 90 bucks

unless it was 55-60* degrees F in december in michigan, you will not have A/C. The sho has an ambient air temp sensor that wont let the A/C kick on unless it is at least 60 degrees F

well it has been above 60 here in michigan. so as of yesterday it wasnt working and today it is also not working. so I think the theory about the tem is not what I am going with.

Questions? When you say A/C does not work do you mean the fan does not blow or the compressor does not engage? What is the freon charge like? When was the last time the o-rings where replaced? They are the weak link in the system.

The A/C compressor is not engaging. It did for a while after i changed the climate control unit. Like i said above all i did was the oil pan gasket and took the intake off to clean and paint it. havent checked the freon charge not sure how to and I have no idea if or when the o-rings were changed.
