I just changed my fuel pump (put in a Walbro 155lph) and much to my surprise there was a Walbro in the car. The car is a '95 ATX that I have owned since '96. I have never had anyone else work on the fuel system and to the best of my knowledge the pump was original. It didn't look like anybody had ever touched the tank (rounded bolt heads, modified fuel lines etc.) The pump that I took out has the Walbro logo on it along with the following numbers:

F3DU-9350-CA
AOF000
22294 2B
PAT 4500270

I believe the F3 number is a Ford number. Does anyone know if any of our cars came with original Walbro pumps, I had always heard they were Ford's? Also does any one know what the capacity of my old pump is or how to decipher the numbers to find out. This thread is just curiosity because the car is back together (easy job) and is running great. BTW got the pump from APE, great guy to deal with.

Yes they did use Walbro pumps as an oem application. When I changed my pump I was also surprised to see that it was a Walbro with a Ford part number stamped on it.

Walbro makes the carburetor on my weedeater too! Yup, they were the OEM for the fuel pump. I'm loving my new 190 l/hr Walbro pump! It is so much quieter, yet stronger sounding than my original pump. I don't know if the original Walbro pump was ever as quiet as the new one. And I should know, I drove the car off the lot back in '89 along with my Dad.
