Almost too old for this
What is the resonator shaped box after the flex pipes? My PI was ordered resonatorless but still has this box. Curiosity has overwhelmed me as I am near to embarking on making more noise again.
When I bought the car it had true dual straight pipes ending in 18" megaphone tips. It buzzed so hard things inside the car would rattle along with the exhaust. The only thing in the system were the cats and that box and it was LOUD. I put the stock mufflers back on but I miss at least some of the noise and its effect on the Butt Dyno.
The aftermarket systems are problematic fits because the PI has a full size spare tire well in the way.
