Can't claim RICE until I see them. but while we're talking RICE 187 to ALL Ricers. Why spend 10-15K on a Civic spend another 5-10K so it can run with a STOCK Mustang? Just by the Mustang at 15-20K and spend that extra 5k on washing it so it looks nice.
HA I only spent 5k on my Stang and those ricers with 5k invested in them can't even run with me. :D

I can tell you exactly why. Some people(like myself)enjoy making a car faster than it was,not faster than any other car.I enjoyed my SHO so much because it was faster than many, many other SHO`s,not because it was almost as fast as a WS6(not even really). It`s the challenge of it all.

Maybe because I don't want a Mustang.

Maybe because I don't want it to rust out since I've washed it so much.

Maybe because I want something reliable.

Maybe because I don't want something that needs 4.6 liters to make just a bit more power than a Honda with 2.0 liters.

It all comes down to what you want. I don't care what anyone else thinks of my car. I like it. Same goes for all those Civic owners out there. They wouldn't have bought it if they didn't like it.

You better watch yourself....those kind of responses will NOT be tolerated here. I've read some of your other "productive" posts, keep it up and it will be buh-bye.

ok, I know I'm the one who started this thread and now I'm gonna end it. I've even decided not to pursue the idea of clear tails due to the fact that I don't want to deal with the crap associated with having something as "radical" as they are. Just end this topic and talk about rice and muscle in another topic. Thanks.

wow! I've always wondered what my car would look like yellow. I love the color!.

I could make a little extra cash on the side on my way to work to!

I will defenitely paint my SHO Yellow if I ever wrap it around a pole and need a major re-paint!

I suppose it wouldn't look half as bad if it was actually a nice SHO to begin with.

The car is a little beat up and the tail-lights don't look so good.

Conversly, You peeps are being a bit rude to a fellow SHO Owner.

Maybe clear tails aren't your thing but I've seen lots of stuff on peoples SHOs that I don't really like and it's not my place to be an ass and make rude comments to somebody that chooses to own a SHO and not some cookie cutter car that there are millions of.

People critisize me for even bothering with a Taurus SHO let alone my choice in tail-lights.

If you don't like somebody elses tastes, there's no need to be a **** about it.

Offer up some constructive critism instead of ridicul.

No wonder the guy dosen't post much, you guys act like a§§holes.

Actually, that yellow 89 belonged to Ken Day. It was damaged by his father backing out of the garage and hitting it on the rear quarter. It was then parted and sent to the boneyard. It had over 200K miles on it.

That is awesome. boink Yellow is a weird color for cars. It's not like black. Any car looks good in black, yellow is a difficult color to pull off on most cars, but whoever did this one deserves a beer in my book.

I think it is very tastefully done!! Agreed that MOST cars cannot pull off the yellow scheme, but that 89 looks very cool!! thumb I would drive it fo-SHO!!
