Update from super coupe Bill Evanoff - the SHO sensor or timing cover need to be modified to fit. The vendor changed dimensions between prototype and production. So what was the point of having a prototype???
Second he offered $75 for the NOS Super Coupe one in my hand...

Yep, the ones that made it to production have about 2mm of material that needs to be trimmed off in order for them to mount to the block. They rub on the crank seal snout.

That might be where they were before they disappeared from the shelves. I might have paid a little less for the last one I bought but not that much less.
