My airbag light flashes a 4 - 4 code at times. This is listed as a center sensor problem per a previous posting of air bag codes. Does anyone know where this sensor is located and how to solve this problem?
Thanks

44 Center Cowl Primary Crash Sensor Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly

It's mounted to the firewall under the plastic windshield cover.

Only if you want to get to the sensor, otherwise, no, you done HAVE to remove the cover.
