Air is only blowing from defrost vents??

I put in a new EATC yesturday and everything worked great except air would only blow from my defrost vents?? What is wrong?

Did you make sure the vac harness is plugged in tight? If it worked before you installed the new unit and the vac lines are tight I would say the new unit is bad...

I didnt make sure they were tight.

mine only blows out the defrost vent when the engine isnt runnin...was ur car running when u tried it? i thought i had a bad eatc cuz of the same thing and i went on a drive and used it then and it worked fine......idk if this is supposed to happen or what.....

Had the same problem 10 years ago when the dealer did some warranty work on my SHO and forgot to plug back a vacuum line. This is where I would start looking and then move on to the ETAC being faulty.

If I rememver correctly air coming out only the defrost is a safety thing so if the doors aren't working you can still see... Like the ford dealer not hooking up the vac lines.
