My 99's air-con is not working. In addition to the accumulator/dryer and asssociated lines (items 6 and 11 in the below figure), which are readily available as they are the same as for SLO's.

I'm in need of the suction line that runs from the condenser to the evaporator, which is item 10 and is Ford P/N F8DZ19835BB for the complete assembly. The condenser end is SHO specific and is Ford P/N F6DZ19835AE. This part is NLA. The other parts of this line are also shared with SLO's and are available.

My question is, does anyone know where I can purchase either the complete line, or just the SHO specific condenser end?

As I really need the AC to work, if I cannot find this part, I may be forced into buying something else.

Thanks in advance!!

Not sure if you are still working this or gave up.

To be sure, there are two different connections at the condensor depending on models, one is a screw clamp style like the picture below:

The other is the spring lock:

Which one is yours?

Spring locks were for 1996 only, believe me, I have a 1996 and it's a PITA to find A/C parts even if itsn't a SHO. I ended up to convert my 1996 SHO to screw clamp hoses (1997+). Let me guess, Then let me guess, this guy has screw clamp.

If my observations are good only parts #9 and #8 (compressor) are SHO specific. #10 hose can be found on SLO, I replaced mine by myself. Don't attemp to do this at home unless you have unbolted many parts in the way...

Not many places are selling those parts however scrapyards, shosource ?

Interesting info Sho Fan! I only have '96 models so far, and never really paid attention to that part when going to the pick-a-part yards. ;) Those pic's are from my SLO (top) and SHO #1 (Bottom) which are both '96 models.

I suppose from what you are saying one could just take the parts off a GEN3 SLO to retrofit them on the SHO since they are the same except for the connections.

Ha ! The better year ! :) (Welcome into the true 235 hp club.)

Just a precision, only the 2 opening of the A/C radiator changes between 1996 and 1997. Ford probably realized that spring locks are not a good idea at this place with the dust entering in the spring place and don't want to unsnap... Other joints on the system still have snaps.

Then part #9 and #10 are 1996 with springs locks at both ends but 1997+ have one end (bottom) with a screw clamp.
