This morning when I started the car, the air bag light was flashing. It would flash 3 times, pause, and then 4 times. Does anyone know what this means? I turned off the car and then started it again and it didn't flash any more. Any help would be appreciated.

From the SHOtimes.com site, the code you are receiving is described as follows.

34 Driver-Side Air Bag Circuit - Low Resistance or Shorted

That's probably in the connectors in the steering wheel. They are different than the clockspring in the 1991 I am familiar with, so maybe someone who has dealt with this will chime in here.

From what was told. The 91 and 92 had the same air bag setup. As far as the code 34, I am about 99.9% positive that it is a faulty clock spring. That was the problem with my 92. The funny thing about it is. It would flash on somedays and not on others. The flashing is going to get worst. The guy at the local Ford shop told me that the clock spring in our cars is a poor design and is bound to fail once or twice in the cars life.
