Well I got an air bag code of 44 on my 92 MTX. I searched and found some help. I cleaned up the grounds and the bolts as well as the bolt holes. Still no luck. I even clead up the other body mounts for the other sensors for good measure. I was wondering if any one had the pin to pin checks on the cowl sensor or any ideas on what I can look for. Thanks in advance. :thankyou:

It could be the mysterious blue box in your dash up and to the right of the glove compartment. ps..... I have a spare one if you need it.

I checked all the mounts and cleaned all the grounds, as it is the standard fix for this code. I was wondering if anyone had the pin checks so i can check the wiring harness?

From your sig pic, I guess you have a '93, right?

I don't have a '93 EVTM in front of me at the moment, but here's the diagram from the '94 manual; they're probably pretty close, if not identical:

Edit: Woops... Didn't carefully read first post. Anyway, '92 and '94 are probably still the same in the airbag wiring diagram. Good luck.
