I got the car with an aftermarket radio, took it out for one I preferred. Everything has been working great until I pulled the dash out. I found what appeared to be just an extension connector with two grey ends, one which plugged into the wiring kit for the radio. I tossed that extension thinking I did not need it, and now it seems my radio light and amp stay on, and when I take the faceplate off the amp is still on. For now I disconnected the remote amp wire, and take the face off when the car is off.

I also moved the radio to the EATC location but I think the problem stems from not having that pigtail. Do I need to find my little trash bag in the dumpster?

Searched threads and couldn't find anything specific to my problem. When ignition is off, everything turns off like it is supposed to except the light on the radio. Radio display turns off and sound cuts out, but light and amp stay on. Ruled out remote wire by unhooking it from amp.
