:thankyou:Ok so when i bought the car (93 ATX) the car didnt have a radio in it so i purchased one and put it in the other day...it work but everytime i turn the car off and turn it back on the fuse behind the headunit blows, EVERYTIME...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

Probably why there wasn't a radio in it when you bought it. It would have to be a short somewhere.

You do not fix problems blowing fuses by upping the fuse. Something is wired incorrectly, you dont have sufficient ground, or something else is amiss in your wiring.

track down the wires you are using for your power wires, both constant 12 and ignition 12. i would be willing to bet the previous owner used a 12 volt source that was originally intended for a light bulb etc. most likely they just spliced into it. cap off these wires and run a new constant 12 volt source directly from the main fuse block outside the car. make sure you put a fusable link in this wire with a fuse that is in a convenient location to replace if it ever blows. then find a good 12 volt ignition source (switched with ignition) this doesnt have to be a big wire or anything as it is just basically a remote turn on. this should solve your problem.
