I need to get my car on the road soon and can't wait to find some one or some junkyard that has and original fan assembly, so I am going with an aftermarket fan hopefully a flexalite 114,116, or 396. which are a trimline 14",or 16" fans, I am not worried about mounting them but I need some help as to how to wire a single speed fan into the wiring of the two speed fan on the MTX, which wire should I wire it to. or is there a way to wire both leads to the power wire of the fan? I would apreciate any help at all.

well it ended up that all I could get was a Mr. Gasket 16" fan. But it has worked out very well and I am not having any problem with over heating, even in the 97* heat we are having now. it moves about 2000cfm and I wired it with the old connector from the burnt out motor. I used only the brown with orange strip wire and the black ground.

The Dark Blue wire is the high speed for the fan. Brown and Orange is the low speed.
