After 3 days of no sleep I finally go the final stuff in and it runs. A couple of bugs to work out though.

It seens to be running rich a bit. black smoke coning out of the tailpipes when I blip the throttle at high rpms and under WOT acceleration.

Also the secondaries are stuck open. I am in the process of looking into that.

Other than that, the motor seens to be resting ok in it's new home.

The '93 has an x2j computer and so does the '92. I think that I may swap them out because the one in the '92 has the superchip in it and the '93 one does not have the opening.

You might try swapping the MAP sensor off your other car, it could be part of your rich mixture problem.

Would the secondaries have an issue with the rich condition?

The MAP sensor I am assuming is the one at the airbox in line with the throttle body hose??

The secondaries stuck open wont really cause a rich condition.

The MAF is the one on the airbox, but if you didnt swap that from the other car also it might be a good idea.

The MAP (or BARO as it is used on our cars) is the little black box on the firewall in about the center with a plug that looks just like the MAF plug. It should be directly behind or a little to the left of the secondary vacuum canister.

Will the MAP sensor work off of the '92 on the '93? I remember looking at the two then I was in the midst of the swap and the last digits of these modules were slightly different. The '92 was A1A and the '93 had A2A. Is there a difference? I will try swapping the two and see what happens.
