Do any of these cars have adjustable clutch cables and quadrants similar to the mustangs ? I had an 87 5.0 and the adjustable clutch cable made all the difference in the world on that car !!

The SHO comes equipped factory with a self adjusting and tensioning Clutch. All you have to do is lift up on the clutch pedal with your foot, and the clutch cable will retension itself. If you hear a *click* that is fairly normal. Just Pick up on the pedal again if you do. If you hear more than one or two clicks, it is possible the self adjuster mechanism is broken. That is all it should take to adjust the clutch, however!

Yes, just pull upward on the clutch pedal with about 10 pounds of force. If you hear any clicks then the cable was re-tensioned. This should be done every 5,000 miles per the owner manual. Another reminder would be every 3,000 mile oil change. Often is good.

Yeah, that is what the mustang had, but once I put that adjustable one on there, it was 500% better than the stock one. The "self adjusting" was such a joke, I had a slipping clutch on it with the stock crap, put on the BBK adjustable and got another 5K miles out of it with MUCH less pedal effort to boot !!
