I have a 2010 non pp with large mirror housing with camera but no adaptive cc. I believe there should be a radar modual visible through the lower grill in front toward the driver's side for SHOs with that feature. Don't know for sure.Maybe someone with that option can look.

2010-2012 have a solid black plastic shield in the lower right of the grill. This plastic shield says Adaptive Cruise on it.
I'm not sure where it is on the newer models, but is hidden.
I'm not sure if this works in conjunction with the camera near the mirror as it is radar based. I think the camera is used for the auto wipers, collision warning, and auto high beams. (and the NSA, ha)
Hope that helps

the easiest way on the Lincolns is that the steering wheel controls include a button to adjust the gap between you and the car in front of you. I believe the Ford vehicles with adaptive cruise have the same control.

The camera has nothing to do with Adaptive Cruise control. It is used for the Auto High Beams and for the Lane Keeping Assist.

As mentioned, the easiest way to identify is the "GAP" switch instead of "ON/OFF" at the steering wheel

It will have plastic cover in the front bumper that says ACC adaptive cruise, at least on my 2010.
