Hey guys, what exactly does this thing do?

With the rain lately here, my car seems to run better, and I haven't gotten a lean code the entire time...

Teg I can tell you this, I had an ACT code in my silver car a little while ago (can't remember the code #), so I got one out of an '89 at the junk yard, popped it in, and bingo, no more CEL.
It seems as though these things can fail after time I guess.

It might be a good idea to change it after a while. It seems that it can cause the car to r headbang un rich if it is faulty.
