Alright I have a leak in between my accumulator and I assume the other big canister is the drier, I went and found the hose from oreilly's but it looks like you need a special tool to remove the connection off the accumulator side.

I was wondering if anyone knew what this tool was and where I could find one. If there isn't one should I use a pipe cutter and cut it then put a rubber hose between the two (this doesn't seem practical to me since it's a pressure system but I could be wrong)

here's a link of what I'm connecting to (not replacing)

The side that doesn't have a long metal hose sticking out of it.

Ac fuel line tools should be at any auto parts store or hardware store that sells automotive tools. Most of them are plastic and colored according to size they look like dough nuts and have a split to open them up so they can go around the connection. You just pull them into the part that has a spring in it then they pull apart.

ya i took it apart tonight, had to go to a tool store cause autozone a bunch of retards... but I'm having trouble location the hose I need....
Now I was told it is the "suction line" there are 2 lines coming off the compressor, the top goes into an accumulator of some sort, the bottom hose goes into the drier if I'm not mistaken.

I need the bottom hose that goes into the drier... the large of the two

Anyone help me locate that at part store or something so I could find for one and two know what to call it.

this is an obsolete part from ford I have to get used or aftermarket, would prefer aftermarket.
Ford old part # e9dz-19E636-a
Ford new part# f3dz-19e636-b

if no one knows where I could get this, I'll have to try to find a used one I guess

That hose is discontinued. When I did my A/C I put a wanted ad up and found one in good used condition. Only other option is to take it to a hydraulic shop and have them put a new hose one. Also when you have it all apart put new o-rings on everything.
