ok heres the deal ic spent over 12 hours trying to get the engine out of a car im parting out, its a 94 atx and im taken what i think are all the bolts off the trans bolting it to the block. I have also taken off the bolts holding the flywheel to the tq converter I figured it needed a good smack to get it off so i was hitting it and it did nothing, so i just hit it harder :naughty: , haha probably a bad idea but i didnt care and i cracked the housing on the trans, the trans is shot so i didnt care. anybody have any sugestions on any bolts i may be missing or something? Anyone have a picture of the bolts that would need to come out or anything like that, or know of bolts i may be missing? The number of bolts that are soposed to come out would be a big help.

Thanks guys :thumb:

Did you get that bolt that is located directly below the oil pressure sending switch? It's a real pain to find.

Takes about 24" of extensions and a U-joint to get it out. Come in from the passenger side with the extensions on the top of the tranny to get to it.

Also, dont forget the outboard mounting bolts on the passenger-side bracket already mentioned.
