Is anyone compiling a list of contact/cell numbers for emergency contact once people begin hitting the road?

If you are driving to the convention and would like to exchange contact information with others that will be on the road, email me your cell number and what route you will be driving. I'll distribute a list via email to those replying, in case anyone's SHO decides to "stub-a-toe" along the way. That way everyone on the road will have a means of contacting others while enroute.


If you're not going to the convention but can offer assistance and/or parts to those who will be on the road, email me your cell number and local contact numbers where you can be reached next week. I'll include that information in the reply messages as well.


I learned the lesson of striking out on the road solo, and can tell you it was frustrating at best.


Please title your email message "Convention Number" - so I can create a filter and not miss anyone's message.

The Big MO strikes first !

I'll start generating the email list tomorrow, and try to update twice a day as time allows. If you have a laptop with wireless, email access is available at many places now, and you can google "wireless hotspots" for free access locations along your route of travel.
