Hello all! So I found a really good deal on a NOS Ford factory AA5Z-19G364-A remote starter module for my 2010 SHO, but it of course didn't come with installation instructions. I've tried searching the forums and elsewhere online, but I'm having zero luck. Most of the posts are too old and any attached files have long since been deleted. Does anyone that has access to these instructions be willing to share? Thank you very much!

I installed that remote in my 2012 mkt. 2010-2012 MKT is the same. Try this link: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/f...ssory_files/2010_Bronze_RMST_Car_v18-5-11.pdf

Taurus push button is about page 155.

The kit comes with a third peps key that you program and install in the module before mounting it in the car, so you need 2 programed keys. That's how it remote starts the car.

Let me know if you have issues. I thought it was pretty difficult to install. Don't skip the hood safety switch, that is how you program the remote.

Thank you very much! I couldn't believe how hard it was to find this document. I've installed remote starters in all of my cars, so the install doesn't scare me. Just didn't know where to begin. The kit did include the fob like you said, but I have a 3rd one that came with the car that is already programmed. Looking everything over earlier, I did see where I assumed the fob went. I'll give this a go either after I get home tonight or tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

Yes, the way it works is that the remote start module powers the fob that stays in the module and starts the car with it when you push the programmed remote start. And any other time the module provides no power to the fob (in the module) so the car won't start unless you have a IA key with you.

I understand the 2013 and up is a plug and play module.
