The swap was done by a father/son as a project. They never could work out the bugs. It's was sold to the current owner last summer. He's since stated that he doesn't have the time to work out the bugs either. From what I remember, the car doesn't run.

Barrie is a large town 1 hour north of Toronto on Hwy 400 in Ontario Canada.

It also has a large military base nearby; and holds a major swap meet every year.

Mr Anonymous could probably get that car running like a champ with a day or two of effort.

I would love to try and recreate this. ObdII into an obdI car would be a handful though. And what trans and adapter was used? And I'm guessing since the gen3 SF swaps right in that's what they did.

In Ontario Canada, the car must pass a safety inspection and an emission test to transfer the ownership to a new owner.
The emission test is scheduled to be eliminated this year, but like everything government, you have to see it to believe it.
The safety inspection involves documentation of measurements on all the systems and is a painful process; as it too, has been updated, and most facilities are unfamiliar with the new requirements.

So there is not a large local market for this car, even thought there are about 3 million people available locally.

It is too bad as it seems like a respectable GenI, but that engine! I admire the effort to get it this far, but the problems - "the view is not worth the climb".
