a/c relay

were is the a/c relay and fuse. my compressor isn't coming on. it went from working great to nothing.

The article E1 link too has a lot of good info. Your relay is built into the CCRM.

You could jumper the clutch directly to 12V as well to see if you can force it on. Don't forget to make sure your voltage is up. I had my alternator failing once causing the problem to seem like a failed clutch.

A bad alternator, in general, would not be related to starting or over heating as its not used until the car is started. Having said that, if your alternator is not charging the battery, you'd have issues.

Check the Fan relay operation. I don't racall your cars year, but the fans are run against the CCRM.

I believe it was 98-99's the CCRM was replaced. 96-97 for sure uses the CCRM box on the right hand side of the battery. Its strapped to the battery tray.
